Catholic Wedding ceremony and Homestead Park reception | Columbus Wedding Photography

Chase + Kelsey's Catholic Wedding ceremony and Homestead Park reception could be described as the perfect day! It started off a little rainy and very windy, but it ended with the sun shining bright.

We thought we loved Kelsey and Chase from the moment we sat down for coffee and heard their stories of meeting and proposal, but when we were able to spend one of the most important days of their lives with them, that's when we knew for sure.

To say that these two love one another would be an understatement. As wedding photographers, we see many couples each year promise their hearts to one another and celebrate their union with friends and family. So, for us to be blown away by the way Kelsey and Chase care for one another means it must be on another level. The way they laughed together, held one another and hugged each other was just so heartwarming. And It's always fun to watch couples interact with their friends and family because that's when they let their guard down. We get the most genuine smiles and laughs (and tears!) when they are unprompted.

Not only do these two love each other SO MUCH, but they are also clearly loved by their friends and family. In fact, When Kelsey and Chase decided to move up their wedding from September to April due to Kelsey's fathers' failing health, they didn't know if everyone would be able to attend due to the short notice. Chase thought for sure that his best man Rusty wasn't going to be able to come since he lives in Texas. However, Kelsey and Rusty worked together to surprise Chase the night before their wedding, and although we haven't seen it, there is some very funny video of his surprise arrival!

It was incredibly touching to see friends and family come together to celebrate their marriage. And we are so honored to have been chosen as the ones to document such a special day for them. Trust us when we tell you that there was not a dry eye in the pavilion (not even ours) while Kelsey danced with her father. They shared smiles and laughs and twirls, and towards the end, the gentlemen came out and lifted her father so they could hold one another and it was a truly beautiful moment.

We could go on and on about how sweet and loving and perfect their day was, but we're not writers, we're photographers, so we'll let their wedding photos tell the story of their day.

Mr. + Mrs. Chapman, we wish you a lifetime of a happy marriage, and if we could pick any couple to spend two wedding days with, it would definitely be the two of you! We hope you cherish these images forever, and we can't wait to do it all again in September.
