The sun was already high in the sky at 9am on the morning of Sean + Heidi's downtown Columbus engagement session. Luckily for all of us, the tall buildings provided shade, otherwise we would have been so sweaty! I knew it was going to be an awesome session as soon as I stepped out of the car though, downtown already had such a great vibe. We started just an hour before the step off of the Pride Parade, and about two blocks east of the parade route at 4th and Gay.
Their session was really laid back as we just strolled around this city block and got to know each other. We love hearing what kind of things our couples like to do together for fun, the places the go around town that we might not know about, in fact, they told us about the opening of Giordano's, which I'm embarrassed to say we hadn't heard of yet- but now we can't wait to go get some cheesy deep dish pizza! We always learn the coolest stuff from our clients!
When they weren't making silly faces or giggling at each other, Sean pulled Heidi in close to him for kisses and Heidi's eyes lit up when she looked at him. I loved just how much they held hands as we walked through the alleys and down the busy street.
Just about the time we were finishing up their shoot, a bus stopped right in the street in front of us thinking we had been waiting at the stop. We motioned the driver on, but how cool would it have been to get on and get some photos on the bus?!
Sean + Heidi we are so excited to be a part of your FUN wedding day! We can already tell it will be an awesome party.
