Afternoon downtown Columbus Library engagement photoshoot | Wedding Photographers Columbus Ohio
This weekend we met up with Emily + Mike for an afternoon downtown Columbus Library engagement photoshoot and it was so dreamy! When we were planning their session it was still snowing outside, so knowing that Ohio weather can be a bit unpredictable we chose the public library as an indoor option. Luckily though, the weather was perfect and there was just enough shade that the directly-overhead-sun didn’t have them squinting. That magnolia tree in front of the library was so pretty in pink, we probably could have done all of our poses right there and been thrilled with this engagement session, but of course we wanted them to have a variety and (very) full gallery with many options.
You can see just how lovey and snuggly they are, posing came so natural to them, and you just couldn’t help but smile when looking at them. Not only were they perfect snugglers, they kept one another laughing and giggling, especially when Mike gave his best blue steel to the camera, Emily just laughed and laughed. And so did Tim. I just kept clicking the shutter, so maybe they can make a gif from his slow turn and her laugh.
As I was shooting, my eyes were watering from spring allergies, but they we're so cute, you might have thought I was crying happy tears. Now I know I need to wear the waterproof mascara to spring shoots from now on!
While we worked our way around the grounds of the library we caught up on all things wedding and BABY! Yes- Mike and Emily are having a baby girl in July and we are so excited to meet their sweet bundle of joy on their wedding day. We can already tell they will be amazing parents because they divided research responsibilities on baby gear, and they seem to be willing to compromise on baby names- which seems like a tough task if you ask us.
Emily and Mike, we loved spending such a delightful afternoon with you and we cannot wait for your wedding this fall, it will be here before we know it!!
