Jefferson Country Club Wedding in Blacklick OH | Wedding Photographers Columbus

Josh + Mariah’s Gahanna First Baptist wedding ceremony and Jefferson Country Club wedding reception made for a perfect first day of June! We were so excited to finally have a rain-free wedding day with the sun shining and 80-degree temperatures. We couldn’t have asked for better weather.

We started the day with both the girls and guys at Jefferson Country club where they were getting ready. Mariah’s bridesmaids were her sisters, cousin and best friends and let me tell you, they were definitely there to support and love on Mariah all day long. They were incredibly helpful, they kept her calm and laughing before her ceremony and even made sure she always had anything she needed. These getting ready photos are some of my favorites of the year so far! The Jefferson CC has the best bridal suite!

On the other side of the locker rooms, Josh and his groomsmen got dressed. It really says something about a person when their wedding party has been friends their entire lives- Josh’s best man was his cousin and the rest of the guys he’d known since early childhood! Those guys must really love him. And they really know how to have a good time.

Mariah and Josh chose to have a traditional church ceremony, so we all headed to First Baptist of Gahanna for a short, but very sweet ceremony where the two said I do, and shared in a very cute first kiss!

When we arrived back at the country club, we ventured out onto the grounds for some very fun bridal party photos before hopping on a few golf carts and taking the newlyweds out onto the course for some epic couples wedding day photos! You’ll see what we mean when you scroll down. We could have spent a whole hour documenting this couples love, but we really only had about half an hour, but in that amount of time we really got some amazing shots for them. This is only a sneak peek!

By the time we wrapped up with portraits, they were ready to eat, drink, and mingle with their friends and family, so we faded into the background and let them enjoy their reception. Their bridal party definitely came through with some really great toasts, their mother-son and father-daughter dances had everyone tearing up, and their first dance with one another was the sweetest! As expected, after dinner the dance floor was incredibly full and lively, with people of all ages!

We finished off the evening with them by whisking them out onto the golf course for some sunset photos as a spur of the moment decision and oh my goodness! What a great decision it was!! These are some of our favorite photos from the entire day, we just LOVE them!

To Mr. + Mrs. Burchnell, we hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon, you deserve it- but we just couldn’t possibly wait a week to share these previews. We’re so grateful to have been able to share in your special day, and we wish you nothing but the best marriage that lasts a lifetime!
