Pinnacle Golf Club Wedding in Grove City, OH | Columbus Wedding Photography
Shae + Steve's Pinnacle Golf Club wedding had all the Hallmarks of a perfect spring wedding. Everything was in bloom, the sun peeked out in the afternoon, and after we were inside for the evening the sky opened and it rained. You know they say rain on your wedding day is good luck!
Shae and Steve chose us as their wedding photographers probably 18 months before their wedding when we met them at a Columbus bridal show. We really hit it off when we met for coffee and learned all about how these two fell in love and got engaged. So it is needless to say, we had been waiting for this day for so long and it was so exciting to finally be there with them as they tied the knot.
We started the day with each of them while they spent time with their respective bridal party members, Shae and her girls had their hair and makeup done while singing and giggling. Steve and his guys youtubed videos on how to tie their ties and how to pin the boutonnieres. While Shae got into her custom made wedding gown, her best friend Lacy buttoned all the buttons and shed a few tears. It was definitely a precious moment to capture.
These two chose to have a first look before their ceremony to ease one another's nerves, get a few moments of alone time before walking down the aisle and to exchange gifts. Afterward, we went right into bridal party photos, where we got to see everyone's personalities come out to shine. This was definitely the most expressive bridal party so far this year! Even the videographer was impressed with everyone's "Doreen laugh".
Their ceremony took place inside the Pinnacle ballroom, beneath the beautiful large chandeliers, it was the perfect setting. Friends and family watched as they said their vows, and it was such a sweet ceremony that we caught a few tears falling. You really could see all the love these two had for each other when they spoke their vows. And even though they shared a kiss before their officiant said they could, and maybe forgot to exchange rings, in the end, they were MARRIED!
Soon enough, they were introduced to their reception and the party was kicked off with a few toasts, delicious food, and lots of dancing. Their guests were treated to a photobooth (and we even got in with the newlyweds!) and they capped off the night with a sparkler exit.
Steve + Shae, we're so grateful you chose us to capture your wedding day love and joy! We wish you the best marriage and a happily ever after!
