Sunset Bicentennial Park Engagement Session in Columbus Ohio | Columbus Wedding Photography
Spring has sprung and we were more than happy to get out and take a stroll along the downtown Columbus skyline with Lauren + Ted for their sunset engagement session in Bicentennial Park. We we’re greeted by not only Lauren + Ted, but their super adorable pups, Copper and Brinley, who both made an appearance in their photos, but also Ted’s parents who were kind enough to come along and doggy-sit while we did their more formal posing. How sweet!
We loved working with these two because they balanced each other out so well, they definitely compliment one another and that kind of relationship is one that lasts a lifetime. It also makes our jobs as their photographers SO easy because they easily relax one another, keep each other giggling, smiling, and enjoying the poses.
We started our time together in Bicentennial at the fountains, the architecture of them is cool even though they aren’t yet on for the season. Then we walked down the path along the river and for their second dressier outfit we headed out onto the Rich St. bridge- yeah, you know the one we’re talkin about- the one with the arch. And that golden glowy sunset was to-die-for!!
We worked a little closer to sunset with these two to make sure to get those twinkling lights on the downtown buildings behind them and the white lights on the bridge. This dusky hour is pretty, but it doesn’t last, so we had to work quickly.
Lauren + Ted, we hope you love your engagement photos- but more than that, we hope you loved spending an hour cuddled together, nuzzling and kissing. Please be sure to thank Ted’s parents for us, they took great care of the grand-dogs! We can’t wait until your wedding in October!!
